| The Tree of Life
symbolised paradise and eternal life in Christian religion. It stood at the
centre of the world (Garden of Eden), where Christ's Crucifixion is also
said to have taken place. The window is essentially abstract and colourful with various thicknesses of lead and a variety of textured and coloured glass. |
The Cross of Faith in the centre shows concentric arrangements of yellow, white and reds surrounding the cross against a blue background giving a feeling of expansion, ever increasingly broadcasting outward. Symbolising the spread of the Ministry. | The True
Vine with curved members and leaves is an emblem of the Christian
church. John 15. Verses 1, 5 and 8: 1. "I am the True Vine, and my father is the vinedresser." 5. "I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me, with me in him, bears fruit in plenty; for cut off from me you can do nothing." 8. "It is to the glory of my Father that you should bear much fruit, and then you will be my disciples." |
